Full-service, luxury family photography will get you deeply satisfying photos every time.
I hear about a lot of pain points from my clients who have had difficult experiences in the past.
I'll break down the ones I hear the most and show you why a luxury family photo experience will take care of all your worries and more.
1. My kids (or pets) were too wild and we hardly got any of them looking at the camera.
Of course they're wild! But there are ways to get those "perfect" family photos.
- Patience: Take the time to let them get adjusted to the new environment before shoving a camera in their face. I will let them hold my camera to allow them to get familiar with it as well. They love playing photographer!
- Flexibility: We can get some candids of your kids being kids like running and playing. It's great to capture those memories too!
- Time: Sometimes it takes awhile to make great portraits, and I always allow for lots of time rather than rushing through a session.
- Tools: I can hold something by the camera that grabs their attention *cough* Cocomelon *cough.*
- Photoshop: As often what happens, I snap a fantastic photo, but your toddler was looking down, suddenly fascinated by their shoes. I can do amazing things in post production like expression swapping.
2. My hair/makeup/outfit was a hot mess.
In every session you book with me, up to two people get hair and makeup included. We can go as natural or glam as you'd like with help from an amazing makeup artist.
As for wardrobe, I have a client closet to use as well as the option to get assistance from a personal stylist.
And of course, Photoshop can help with any wardrobe/hair malfunctions such as editing out wrinkles in clothing or some light skin smoothing.
3. I felt like my photos weren't quite what I wanted.
Every photographer has their own style, as do I.
However, I also make it a custom-tailored experience where we plan everything out beforehand.
- We will talk about any and all hesitations or insecurities when it comes to being photographed. It is vulnerable getting in front of the camera after all.
- Pinterest is a great tool to use to create a board with examples of images you love. We will scroll a bit and discuss what you like and dislike to ensure you absolutely love your portraits.
- All of the editing is done by me personally using beautiful hand-edits, meaning there are no filters or presets. This means they can be edited to your taste and I'll happily take just about any editing requests you have.
- Finally, I have a list of great outdoor locations that we can choose from.
